Saying Goodbye

Sorry for my recent absence. My family and I are in the process of easing my father into the next life, with the help of Hospice.

A friend of mine sent me this bit of verse from Tennyson's "Crossing the Bar", and it's a fitting tribute for Dad:

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea.

I'm so sorry, Carolyn. Hospice people are angels on Earth. They'll take good care of you and your dad.

God bless.

I also am so sorry. Know that you and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of many people.
